as if it had been a dream....

원래 블로그를 쓸 생각은 별로 없었다. 
컴퓨터 앞에 앉아 글을 쓰는 걸 좋아하는 사람이 아니라서.
블로그를 쓴다면 여행 중에 써야 할 텐데,
매번 PC방에 앉아 글을 쓰고 사진을 올리는 것도 별로 내키지 않고,
그렇다고 해서 짐이 되는 넷북을 들고 여행을 떠나기는 더더욱 싫었다. 
In the beginning, I didn't think about writing a blog
because I am not that type of person who likes to sit down in front of the computer and spend hours writing.
Furthermore, I didn't want to spend time in cybercafes writing and uploading pictures while I was traveling. I hated even more to hit the road with a laptop on which I would have to keep an eye all the time not to lose it.




그렇지만, 
막상 여행을 마치고 집으로 돌아오니,
6개월이라는 결코 짧지 않은 시간을 남미에서 보냈음에도 
남미가, 남미에서의 추억들이 이미 딴 세상 얘기 같이 느껴져
문득 조바심이 났다. 
미흡하게나마 흔적을 남겨야겠다는 생각이 뒤늦게 들기 시작했다. 
그렇게 해서라도, 
벌써 달아나려고 하는 지난 6개월 동안의 꿈만 같았던 시간을
잡아두어야겠다.
However,
after finishing the trip and coming back home,
I already felt like those months that I spent in South America were far away and left there in that continent. 
Thus, I thought that I might want to leave some memories in writings, 
keeping those dream-like memories from running away from me.
